JUMPING OFF A BUILDING IS NOT VERY PRACTICAL.
You can’t fly. I am telling you right now that you cannot fly. YOU CANNOT FLY. You are also not a mermaid. You can’t go under for too long or you WILL die.
Maybe You Could Crack My Sternum is the debut creation of writer-performers Emma (Hall) and Emma (Smith).
Emma and Emma began their friendship on either side of their twenties: a decade when beauty, talent, ambition, and body flesh are your key commodities. So what do you do when all that goes to shit?
Maybe You Could Crack My Sternum is a show about human connection and the passage of time.
- “I really liked it, it was my favourite” – audience member we didn't know, who saw an early development showing, 2013
- “You are some cool ladies” – VCA lecturer (paraphrased), 2012
